Pets Pro

Riga pet store for dogs and cats, selling across Europe in English, Latvian and Russian — 370+ products, size guides and size-range links, rule-based upsells, moderated reviews with the dog’s breed and size, and parcel-locker labels printed straight from the order.

Challenge

Pets Pro started as a tidy WooCommerce storefront. As the catalogue grew past 370 products — raincoats and clothing in many sizes, beds, harnesses, care and hygiene — the shop had to sell in three languages across Europe, help owners choose the right size without writing in, raise the average order, and let a small team pack and ship parcels every day. All of it on the existing WordPress stack, without making the site slower.

Solution

  • The whole shop in English, Latvian and Russian — product names, descriptions, categories, attributes, e-mails and forms — on SitesPro Translate, our own multilingual plugin, replacing TranslatePress
  • Product texts rewritten to one template (intro, features, how to use, specifications) and size guides transcribed from pictures into translated pop-ups
  • "Looking for another size?" links between the size ranges of a model, built automatically from product names and stock
  • Rule-based upsells under Add to cart and cross-sells in the cart for every product — a leash and harness next to a raincoat, refills next to a holder
  • Subcategory chips above the product grid, filters that survive a language switch and a colour filter only where colours exist
  • Reviews for registered customers only, held for moderation, with the dog’s name, breed and the size bought shown next to each review
  • Omniva, Expresspasts and Smartposti parcel-locker shipping with labels printed from the order, and a "label printer" role that lets packing staff print labels without being able to change orders
  • Free-shipping thresholds shown on every product, and a coupon pop-up that adds subscribers to Brevo with their language, so campaigns go out in the right one
  • Speed work: page cache kept free of tracking cookies, self-hosted fonts, a lighter home slider, and the Meta Conversions API limited to purchases — that change alone takes 0.1–0.65 s off every uncached page

Result

A storefront that grew into a working retail system: owners find their size and the matching accessories on their own, every page reads naturally in three languages, reviews come with real context, and the team prints the day's parcel labels straight from the orders. We keep developing and maintaining the shop as the business grows.
